What is CBMC?
FORUMS is a part of the CBMC Ministry which was formed in the 1930s. It is a national and international ministry dedicated to “Connecting Business Men To Christ”. To visit the national website, click here. To visit the FORUMS website, click here.
Our Mission
To present Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to business and professional men and to develop Christian business and professional men to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20).
Statement of Faith
We believe in the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God, and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.
- We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God; and that human beings are born with a sinful nature, and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility become sinners in thought, word and deed.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
- We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His Ascension into Heaven, in His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate.
- We believe in "that blessed hope," the personal and imminent return of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
- We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting, conscious punishment for the lost.
Our Core Values
CBMC is founded on a set of simple yet profound Core Values. They are the guiding principles that direct our ministry activity. These are the non-negotiables which we consider to be of utmost importance.

Preeminence of Christ
Intimacy with Christ is paramount, and all that we do must emanate from our life in Christ and His life in ours.
Life-on-Life Relationships
We value the process of committed one-on-one relationships for evangelism and discipleship.
Teams
God calls us to work together in teams in order to multiply what He wants to accomplish through us.
Generational Spiritual Reproduction
The goal of the discipleship process is spiritual reproduction to the 3rd and 4th generations and beyond.
Preeminence of Christ: Intimacy with Christ is paramount; therefore we recognize that ministry flows through spiritual leaders who are devoted to Christ and to prayer. All that we do must emanate from our life in Christ and His life in ours. “Christ in you [is] the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ” Colossians 1:27-28.
Life-on-Life Relationships: We value the process of committed one-on-one relationships for evangelism and discipleship. Paul tells the church in 1 Thessalonians 2:8, “We were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”
Just as Paul shared his life with Timothy for the sake of the gospel, we believe in building relationships in order that we may share our lives with those in need, caring for them and being committed to them over time for the sake of the gospel
Teams: God calls us to work together in teams in order to multiply what He wants to accomplish through us. Two or more people with an external focus compose a team whose emphasis is relationships and mission.
Our ministry is to the “whole man.” One team we seek to help is the husband and wife. This needs to be a growing relationship to sustain a fruitful ministry. “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work . . . a cord of three strands is not easily broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:9, 12).
Generational Spiritual Reproduction: The goal of the discipleship process is spiritual reproduction to the 3rd and 4th generations and beyond. Paul exhorts Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2, “the things you have heard me say . . . entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” We strive to fulfill the Lord’s promise in Isaiah 60:22, “The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time, I will do this swiftly.”
